Idaho Traffic Jam

This happens frequently in the mountains of Idaho during the fall season.

Sheep.

Lots and lots of sheep going every which way.

The Basque sheepherders in the Wood River valley drive their sheep to the high mountain pastures for grazing typically in May and bring them back in September.  Just in time for the annual Trailing of the Sheep Festival - a tradition that has been going on for more than 150 years.

The part I enjoy the most about the festival... the sheepdog trials.  You want to talk about focus - checkout the dogs doing what they do best - herding sheep.
